Cassaries - What Would a Family or Community Have Doen With Them?

cassaries imprint on the first person or individual that they see. It would make sense for people to rear a chick if they were mobile communities. This would be an easy way to carry that resource around with you, because you know of your resources able to walk behind you and follow you. And probably, if people were rearing casswary chicks, they were only doing so until that chick hit early adult hood.
