The Ugliness of the Ground Plain

I wanted people to really kind of think about that time is was not a good time for my ancestors by any means, and to romanticize it. And so we try to tell these stories as you move through the landscape. O the entire ground plain is made up of sea shells that are taken from the atlantic ocean. So they're all these kind of metaphorical, allegorical elements. It really scares me, this project. I want it to be really good, but i'm like, really afraid.
