The Gulf Stream, a Balance Wheel

Homer was asked to clarify the outcome of his intentionally ambiguous picture. He wrote that the Gulf Stream is a balance wheel, by which air and water are adapted to each other. So if Homer understood the Gulf Stream as a system, it involved danger, but also allowed for fruitfulness - such as this crop of sugar cane. Yes. If he had answered these questions for us, it would have not given us the gift of paying attention, of looking long, of being fully present to the moment. And I think that is one thing that really jumps out at me about this. Right.
