Exit Ticket - When I've Used Exit Tickets
The only class that I've consistently used exit tickets for was in my first year of teaching and it was a VCal mathematics class. The students had to kind of they had to reflect on their effort like a scale from one to ten, then give themselves an eight on the scale plus be able to write a little summary of what they learned in order to win the lesson so that was just a motivational thing. Getting them to have a bit of made a cognition about how hard that tried in the lesson did improve their kind of motivation and engagement.
