This movie was made and released during kind of the height of the Bush era. It's a great time capsule of this one particular time. You get a sense from hearing from these people just how dangerous it can be to walk from the car to the bar. But then you do it anyway because you have to go to this bar. Like it's the only place where you can really be yourself.
