The Worsley Man is a skull that was found in a bog near Manchester in the late 1950s. The head of conservation at the Manchester Museum, Sam Beeth, put on gloves and opened up the box for us. He said: "Very, very fragile. You can see where his teeth were so clearly"

In the summer of 1984, a local newspaper reporter outside of Manchester, England, got a tip from the police. A foot had been found in a nearby bog.
