Google has issued apologies for some of its search results. But how does this bias, or discrimination, in this context? Is it different from bias off line? I think probablyt the biggest difference is that, as regrettable and terrible a sort of avert bias in the real world might be some one obviously discriminating against another person,. With an algorithm, it's an invisible process. How to make them accountable is a work in progress.
