The Return of the PIN With PIN Echoes in the Background
The return of the PIN with faintly quiet PIN echoes in the background is one of the greatest mid track moments I can think of in any large scale prog rock piece. The triumphant guitar fanfare Mike mentioned sounds like trumpets announcing a monarch. It's so cathartic and yet the tension keeps piling up even as they release it. This section can and has made me cry big manly tears more than once. And I expect this will happen periodically my whole life. Maybe something from the build in Starless can match this.
