Is There a Conflict Between the Elites and the Constitution?
I think it's important to say that your book does name different historians and debates, you know, going back to Charles Beard and others who had a more class analysis. It seems to me that as we attempt once again to talk about this dilemma, the constitutional dilemma that it is all the more imperative that we put these very concrete class conflicts front and center so we can understand precisely what is wrong with this document.
