Mindfulness Develops Concentration

When mindfulness is directed to stabilizing attention on a single object, it leads to deeper states of calm. It culminates in what we call the jhanis or meditative absorptions. The Buddha was very clear about the importance of this less step on the path. He said bhikkhus. Bhikkhus develop concentration. And knowing our mind begins to settle into a concentrated state, it is very fulfilling.
