What Is the Mistake of the Intervention in Libya?

What went wrong in libya wasn't so much the intervention itself or the way it was conducted, says Lucan. The main failure of Libya was this failure to plan for the day after, he adds. We might hope to learn from those mistakes and insure that future interveners responsibly help to establish peace and rebuild the state once interventions are over. But i don't think i'm ready to give up entirely on the idea that in certain instances, non consensual force may be a credible means of protecting civilians.
