How Did You Make the First Prototype Under Water?
I was personally extremely inspired by minecraft. I knew that i did not want to work oun a game with guns. The underwater was our major innovation, and the non combat thing. It's kind of like f this invisible hand that's guiding the player. And because you're essentially flying above a giant height map,. You don't want to look at boring stuff. So we could basically tell players where to go in an open world without any quests or anything else. We didn't have to rely on a lot of quests and a lot of indepedent ways of pushing them forward.
