Is It Consensual or Not?
In verse 25 and 26, if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, the previous verse hid talked about her being in the city. If it happened in the city, then obviously she would have cried out. In instances when it is non consentual, and the woman had no one to come to her rescue, then she has committed no sin worthy of death. I was once asked by a woman to give her priesthood blessing. And i just remember, as i laid my hands on her head, feeling such a worthiness in her andrighteousness. But even that are they robbing them of? It is this damaged goods that can never come clean? No.
