The Relationship Between Anxiety and Depression

Dr. Lisa Felden Barrett is a university distinguished professor at Northwestern University. She has research appointments in Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. When she was doing the initial research towards her dissertation, she was studying actually self esteem and self representation. The measures were not performing the way that they were supposed to perform given the existing beliefs about what emotions were and how they worked.
