The Competition in Private Equity

There's a lot of brass plates, but when you cut it down, there're a lot of people looking for different things. We call ourselves a plastic plate, not a brass plate. Half our deals have come off market; we're generally not dealing in massive auctions. If someone is told their business is worth between a hundred and a hundred and fifty, we'll probably end up bidding maybe one 30. And that fish involves getting on much with, with, and also managing that balance of being hands on when needed to drive on the business, but hands off and need them to run the business.
