The Future of Gaming

As online gaming becomes more popular, I think we're going to be seeing maybe a little more vocalization and debate as to the psychological value of interacting with people in mediated spaces. What I also think is, well, some of the technologies and things that are developing nowadays might be a big issue or a big research topic in the future. For example, the use of mobile games, I think there's not enough research on that. The virtual reality and augmented reality research, it just seems like you don't need to spend tens of thousands of dollars to equip your lab with a virtual reality setup when you can go buy an Oculus Rift for a few hundred.
