The Chameleon Effect in Psychology

A lot of our speech isn't conscious that when we want to be a certain way. Some people call this the chameleon effect in psychology. It could be about your actions too, like when somebody is kind of making some mannerisms across from you and you like them, you tend to do those more. The kinds of vowels you make pick up on the vowels that are you hear across from you. So it's not at all always conscious or intentional.
