Zebulan Montgomery Pike

Zebulan Montgomery Pike was 34 years old when he died at the Battle of Yorktown. He had been interrogating a prisoner and his entire body, including his head, was pummeled by flying projectiles. The blast alone would kill 40 British soldiers and 38 Americans. His only surviving child Clarissa would marry John Cleves Harrison, the son of American President William Henry Harrison. So would die at a young age in 1832.
