The Future of Translation

It's almost certainly something in the algorithms that are getting run by the billions of neurons so it's more than size it's what programs are running. And there are decades of work ahead of us to even scratch the surface of that scientific problem. Typically when we think about animal uplift we picture an animal speaking English and having a conversation with us. But it's possible that it's going to be very difficult to do animal uplift because the intelligence of our species is so tied to other things.
