Cigarette Smoking
Hank and john answer a question on how society can promote good things without stigmatizing those who don't fit that description. Hank: I think this is interesting, particularly from the public health standpoint of cigarette smoking. He says we dramatically decreased the amount of cigarette smoking in america by sort of having a negative image of people who smoked cigarettes. John: With obesiy, sometimes it's, you know, it's genetic. Times it's not controllable, so it's a little bit more of an if than reflector of health. The other thing is, as feeling bad about yourself does not tend to lead to less a poor decision wrecking.
