Niena is the weeper, the lady of grief and mercy. She's a vala whose sole place in the pantheon is is weeping,. And i remember reading this the first time. I was a ten ager. When i first read the silmerilian, i think i was probably 16 or 17. It made me consider the importance of thisand it's more than just the fact that, like, sadness is important. There's a beauty in sadness. You can't truly see one thing without the opposites.
