Is There a Difference Between Self Control and Control?
If we're understanding mental health as being not being depressed, then it's more empowering to look at the world the way conservatives do. Don't expect everybody to kind of live your life for you or to fix up your problem for you. When somebody is hyper dependent in unhealthy ways, that's where the totalitarian impulse really starts to show itself. And I think this is a lot of what Hateswork definitely is onto.
