The CIA's Investigation of Rick Ames
The CIA and FBI launched a joint investigation to look for the mole. Rosario first learned about her husband's espionage after she found a note in his wallet about a meeting with the russians Ames had always told her that their money came from well-placed investments So she was shot to discover the truth But ultimately Rosario was unwilling to turn on her husband or to give up their lavish lifestyle so she encouraged him to continue.
