The Leaderbock Tunnel

13-year-old Tristan Brubach was found dead in the leaderbock tunnel on March 26th, 1998. He had been beaten to a pulp and strangled before being plunged into the water by his killer. A group of children were walking home from school when they saw what looked like a human corpse floating in the filthy shallow water. They rushed back to their teacher who believed that they'd made it all up but then went with them to see for himself. To their horror, they discovered there really was a young boy's body floating in the sewer. The crime scene at the Frankfort Housch subway station is one of the worst police officers have ever dealt with.
