The Importance of Property in Pens

The Chinese are subsidizing James Harrigan's purchase of pens, which can only mean that domestic producers here in the United States are not getting my money. Nations don't trade with one another; individuals and companies do. If I can get a better deal shopping from the Chinese manufacturers, because the Chinese government is dumb enough to subsidize them in the form of a post office subsidy, well, so be it. The people who benefit from that arrangement, their benefit would exceed my loss.
