I think most realistically, some people really missed it and they had FOMO. They were throwing hundreds of millions of dollars thinking that there was going to be a company worth $100 billion. It defies belief in many ways. But then you have these grifter short sellers talking about Silvergate. You know, what I did was I stumbled upon an actual fraud. Spent two years working on it, combing over thousands of pages,. Hundreds of financial statements and figuring out that a public company was saying things inconsistent with what was actually happening.
