The Importance of Convalescence After a Heart Attack

Do you attribute part of the heart attack to the anger you were feeling about politics and Brexit at the time? The short answer, I think, is a bit yes. But it would be facile to say that the state of British politics in 2019 somehow caused a sort of a rupture in an artery in my heart. And more crucially, the reason I wrote the book wasn't so much blaming politics for my heart attack. It was the enforced convalescence after the heart attack that gave me the opportunity to think how did I get myself so wound up by politics?"
