Zippy: Aquinas more or less followed Aristotle in his theory of usury. He argues that money belongs to a particular category of things, the consumables which one could not charge for. Zippy: The whole concept of the extrinsic title is that they are a compensation for some kind of loss to the lender. They're not meant to be a source of profit.
