I think there is a shift from trying to put this veneer of separation so that it can withstand anti-trust scrutiny and so that they can avoid being broken up while all of these Leviathan heads are still in close collaboration. And then the pivot to arguing that we need monopolies to fight China because China has monopolies, right? But there is a lot of slipperiness that's going on there, right? These tech capitalists will tell you that you need to look closely at China and look at how they've been able to leverage these monopolies to compete with US firms across the world. Because if you do that, then you might also come to realize that they don't tolerate
