South Korea's Role in the Invasion of Taiwan
The U.S.'s other major ally in the region, South Korea, has a huge military-industrial complex and large well-trained and equipped army. This is a country that has an unfathomable amount of Chinese money within their economy; they can't take their eyes off Taiwan for too long. A country like South Korea has more of a part to play as an arms supplier because it's first and foremost strategic imperative is defense against unpredictable next-door neighbor North Korea.
