The Alternative to a Central Bank Digital Currency

There are people at the Bank of England who think that there is a way around this, which is to have a central bank digital currency. People aren't sure about what that would mean for your privacy. It could come with a whole load of technical issues that would need ironing out. And again, you would probably get somebody else to do it and that would probably be a High Street bank. So, he'd be back to square one.
