How to Mix in Mono and Stereo Separately
I spend a lot of time mixing in mono. It really tells you what, like, levels you're dealing with and whether that's kick snare and vocal levels or just where things are phasing out. I have to train myself over and over because as time goes on, different producers do different things. And the market wants a different thing. So I've got to pay real close attention to that stuff at all times. But yeah, I think the temptation is like, make it wider, man. We've got this sound. That could be wide. Sure. Sure. That's going to be really wide and swimming. This one, it's going to being even wider. Yeah
