CNN's John Sutter recalls an argument he had with a distant cousin in the early 90s. He was told it would be impossible to fill a one gigabyte hard drive because he had one for whatever reason. "I remember having similar conversations about, oh, you know, hard drives are so big, you'll never be able to fill them," Sutter says. 'As fast as hard drives have advanced in size, I have not been able to do that'
