What Are the Warring States?
The warring states period is often dated as starting around four 75 b c. It also overlaps with the end of the jew dynasty. During this period, china was essentially divided into seven independent kingdoms. Over the course of two centuries, these states would engage in a long and convoluted series of wars,. alliances, betrayals, assassin s and still more war - all to get the edge on arrival or exerting more influence over china. By the wa states period, this almost ceremonial type of warfare had given way to a less elegant, but more effective type of battle. Aristocratic charioteers were out, and large peasant armies were in of the seven warring states;
