Working for Little, or Even Nothing?

Workers in Australia are often forced to work for little, or even nothing. If they walk away from their job the worker is deported and unable to bring a case against their employer anyway. These cases are referred to work place regulators and ombesmen who have had their funding gouged away by governments. Most of the time the employer just has to pay back some or all of the missing wages, andill just make up the difference. Few ever pay interest or receive jail time.
