The Difference Between Batch Processing and User Facing Transactions

Softer dynamics are more of a concern in time sensitive code. A lot of our industry focuses on simple programms that start and run and stop, and they model them with bench marks that run on empty machines. So grams that run in the background are run in batch, and nobody's waiting on them particularly strongly. You only can run for a couple of hours, and it doesn't matter if it takes two hours or two and a half hours. That's a very different environment than i hit carriage return. And i want something to happen on my screen in that environment. With the time sensitivity, you never want the c pus to be a hundred or even 90, even 80 % busy
