What Is Offended Observer Standing?
David Frum: The Supreme Court should have taken the Ten Commandments case. He says there's a doctrine called offended observer standing that allows people who are offended by public displays of religion to get into court. But he says it seems like an even lower bar than, for instance, taxpayer standing. Frum: How is one supposed to challenge establishment clause stuff if being a person who observes the government establishing a religion?
