The Early Conquests and the Conquerors

These, i think these are really fascating sources. They give us an idea of what it's like to be conquered and how they perceive the conquest. And you get a very little awarenessme some sense and some sense te evisence that they also know more than their letting on. If we could sit some of them down and energy them and drill them, i think maybe they would reveal more than their fragmentary writings,. But in general, what? What do they know?
