The Switch is well into its seventh year. Hardware sales are slowing, but the user base is huge and the first party lineup post tiers of the kingdom is still going strong. At this Nintendo Direct, which followed the PlayStation showcase and the Xbox and Bethesda showcase now, it was Nintendo's turn. But as expected, we got an announcement of a new Mario game.
