The Relationship Between Gary Emmanuel and the Parasite State Theory
Zach Kope and Gary Emmanuel worked together in the mid-60s. They developed a parasite state theory, which underpinned their theories of capitalism. But when they tried to update it, they found out that this could not explain living standard differences between central and third world. When he died there was very little interest in his work at the time so all his papers went into a cellar. Now we are making a digital archive of his leftovers as well as establishing a physical archive for him.
