Animal Welfare in the Urban World
When you live in the city, like i've been saying, you get divorced from the natural world. There can be a disensitisation that happens there as well - it's how they make their living. But most people who are horrified by a slaughter house or killing an animal are horrified while they're eating a hamburg. And yet, they're kind of blaming the guy out in the rural area who's going to butcher the cow. That was sort of a new thing for me, but i like itand i feel like it's interested.
