The Story of Richie Taequan Herrera
"Richie Taequan Herrera is a legend," says former teammate Chris Ricks. "I want to thank you for telling us all about the amazing Richie", he adds. The pair first met in 1979, when they were students at North Carolina's Piedmont High School. They bonded over their love of cats and boating around Barbara Nichols' pond. After school it seemed as if after school was there to see a Muhammad Ali fight. He then jumped into the dugout with his 60-pounder friend who had beaten him before.
