What's Happening in the Capital Building on January 5th?

The capital building had uniquely poor security on a day that was sure to be politically charged and required o additional security. It's even more peculiar when you think of all the other reasons that they would have had to have an enhanced security on that day. There was this terror scare right at the department of justice on january fifth. Even that didn't justify or get people to say, ok, we actually need enhanced security on the sixth. That's ia discrepancy there.
