The Negative Anthropology of Humanity
Gerard: Even though the anthropology starts sort of negative, there's this hopeful ness that I think mirrors what's happening in Scripture. So how does the reading the gospel through victims eyes change the gospel? Like does it enable us to have good news for victims and for the sin against? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Gerard has an anti sacrificial reading of the New Testament but he also has a super positive reading of humanity. However, it's not the kind of his negative understanding of humanity is not the same thing as like we are such sinners.
