Black Block - A Counter-Security Tactic

Black block is a counter surveillance tactic which originated in europe in the 19 eighties and was first popularized in the states during the 19 99 world trade organization protests in seattle. Traditionally, block serves to protect the identity of individuals involved in militant action. Modern block often includes removing logos and other recognizable elements from clothing. Theoretically, block should make it difficult to identify the wares, gender, race and age. This has led to activists in block glossed over as young, white anarchists, which koska takes issues with. There are plenty of people of color that are in block. And there's plenty of people in color.
