The Impact of the Oil Explosion on BP
Five million barrels of oil released. BP suffered lawsuits, huge loss in wealth. I mean, this is a 30, 40 billion dollar event. We'd have to go back to the time. Remember, oil prices were quite high and so there's lots of pressure to find stuff and pump stuff and do things. Things don't go wrong most of the time. The question is looking backwards, what do we think was done incorrectly?
