Afrad: I just knew that i wanted to be an ice cream company for people. The difference, i think, was that at scream it was me just kind of making whatever i wanted to. There migt have been some service differences. One thing that i did differently at jennies was that i put the main flavors in pints from day one,. And i didn't have that at scream. It was mostly to scoops. But, but the flavours were the same. It was just a matter of, like, how they wer presented.

Jeni Britton Bauer is an American ice cream maker and entrepreneur. Jeni opened her first ice cream shop, Scream, in 1996, then founded Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in 2002. Her first cookbook, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home, is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller and won a coveted James Beard Award in 2012. Jeni is a 2017 Henry Crown Fellow and has been recognized by Fast Company as "one of the most creative companies in the world."
