The Importance of Justice
Sartre was one of the existentialist say of the 60s and 70s who argue that there was no human nature. So I would want to treat my dog well as a steward, but it seems that my obligation to my dog to my vichlal is different than to my wife and to my neighbor. And so your doctrine, your dogma of what a human being is grounds your obligation to other human beings. This is how we ground the notion of what is just.
