Normally in nature there's about two to three parts omega-6 fats to omega-3 fats for instance if you're eating grass-fed grass-finished beef the ratio of omega-6 to Omega-3 is about 2 to 3. Unfortunately because almost all of our animals are now fed corn and soybeans which are predominantly omega-6 fat and omega- 6 fats come from grains the current Ratio of omega-4 to omega-5 has been whacked on its head. So just because something says organic chicken or organic farm raised salmon just remember that those fats are not the fats that these animals normally would have eaten. Take that to the bank.
