Childbirth Is More Painful Than a Hangnail

CNN.com's John Sutter has a hangnail that hurts every time he moves his finger. His wife, who is in the next room, warns him not to pull it too far or risk injuring himself. He says when he gets a really bad hangnail, "i'm basically experiencing the same pain as childbirth" It may be a matter of scale in being lik going into the experience saying, this is going to hurt very badly,. versus, there's a thing that happens to me the time, and it's stupid.
